We've bitched on here before about BSU students being on campus wearing anything but Cardinals gear and now Ball State's out to change that.
On the Ball State Sports facebook page they've got a video up where they go around basically publicly shaming students wearing attire for schools other than Ball State on homecoming week and I'm all for that!

We’ll need a designated safe space for the “shamed”.
On that same note, I was in Muncie about a month back and stopped at Meiers (sp) for something. IU and Purdue gear was 3 to 1 more volume than BSU. I assume they have evaluated their demand to determine inventory levels. Still, somewhat surprising.

Not really a fan of this. I wear gear for other schools that my family members have attended. Also schooling isn't a one-stop-shop. Maybe they transferred from that other school, or already hold a degree from that school. If a post-graduate student at IU was wearing BSU stuff from his undergraduate time I'd support that, so I wouldn't want to be hypocritical and criticize it when the roles are reversed.

I have lots of gear from other schools, but not from IU or Purdue, or any of our rivals/MAC members. Some B1G, SEC, Big 12, Horizon, even Big South.
I just like the colors or the style of the shirt. Some were given to me, some I bought when I visited the school. But I have probably 12 shirts that are BSU. Not a big deal to wear another school's stuff, but I draw the line at IU and Purdue!

I have no problems with other gear unless its IU/Pu{ or Butler.. If I see you wearing that on campus I should be allowed to drown you in frogbaby

It looked like it was done it good fun and the sinners were given a t-shirt if they admitted their sins. There was a time when about 80% of my wardrobe was free tshirts I got in college. I'm probably down to 77% now.
