Whenever there's something new, it's going to be critiqued. I think with the right strategy it's going to catch on. It's stupid, mostly because it's devoid of any real meaning or discernible message. This is an example of why I no longer donate money to BSU. Pretty stupid reason not to support your alma mater

Pretty stupid reason not to support your alma mater This is just one of dozens of examples of gratuitous unrewarded spending. Let's start with the geothermal project.

It’s a nice little video but, like most corporate mission messages, seems to try and capture all the latest buzz words that add up to something fuzzy and feel goody. Will be a nice piece to air during televised athletic contests. Frankly, shooting $900,000 worth of tee shirts into the crowd would do more to generate interest in the school.

ESPN doesn't like MACtion that much.

The sad thing is I think they used a better slogan IN the ad. Ball State - Rise Above
Imagine the potential marketing campaign they could build around that, each college could have its own "Rise Above" slogan, it lends itself to being expanded upon, unlike "We Fly"
But I don't charge 900k for marketing and consulting, so what do I know.
