Their center is a tough if he keeps his head in the game.

We need to get down floor and get good shots before the zone is in place. When we are playing half court, need to get into the gaps and score inside the zone, a chance for Moses to use interior passing skill, but as you say not get turned over. Persons does need to play well, but especially as a passer, the zone will come to him. He might be able to drive in, but has to have radar for the guy who is open right behind him where the zone will be surrounding him. Must be very sharp, alert, and concentrate, not just plan on bombing away from outside. We just played a game or two with elements of zone and long pesky defenders, so we may be ready. The last couple of games against Eastern, I have thought they would match up well and play us man to man better than their zone if they had that in their bag of tricks. But I am not sure Thompson can stay on task in the zone much less in a man defense. Let's be worried we start slow, shoot poorly, but overall be cautiously optimistic we can handle their zone. Now, how will we play on defense?

While easterns zone will probably be better it will not be as scrappy and annoying as that one a couple games back

Wow, even after a strong start some still don't believe....BSU 80 EMU 70!!!!
We don't need to stop Thompson he generally stops himself with bone head moves, and we will give their zone fits with our shooters.
We are much to deep for them in my view.

If whitford brings his best plan to beat the zone, which he is usually very good at, we will win. Of course players have to execute the plan which is not guaranteed.

Alright, somebody take the watch off EMU's assistant coach in the blue suit. It is catching the light perfectly on the stream!
