someone desperately needs to teach Moses how to actually ROLL on a Pick n Roll AMEN! Rebounding won this game. Credit for that aggressiveness. But the horrid fundamentals continue. Things you learned in 4th grade basketball. Pick and roll. Sloppy lazy passing. Moving feet on defense. Piss poor shot selection. Will Coach ever tighten this up with any discipline?

Great post by Reevo! Looks to me like the last two games we have worked Teague past his 3 point shooting fest and Moses is showing some physicality the last two that we have rarely seen

Well, well, well... I had a sneaking suspicion they might pull this one out. They had the Turds number last year. But... I assumed it was going to be some crazy breakout 3pt fest that did it (and likely sent the team into thinking they were a good 3pt shooting team, and led to losing the next two after shooting 20+ 3ptrs a game... but I digress). Two games of gritty, gutting it out wins. That offensive board work in the first half was crazy impressive. Only 7 turnovers (whut?). 17 board advantage. 12 o board advantage. Held the Turds to 34% shooting. Wow. Great job on the road. It's as if Sellers' intensity is rubbing off on everyone. Maybe this team is turning a corner. Now to see if they can maintain the intensity.

Whether he maintains or not, it gives us some upside and had we shot well, we'd have done a UB on them. Not soft tonight, whatever else you say.

That’s a great road win! Didn’t realize until I listened to the pregame that Toledo had mauled BG last week by around 30. Godette said it was the worst loss in the history of that series which is 137 games. That is a sure fire recipe for a big letdown and that’s exactly what the doctor ordered for the Cards. Yuuuuuuuge win.
If if you told me we would shoot 34% from the field, 28% from three, and 44% from the FT line I woulda bet the farm we get drilled but 7 turnovers to 14 assists plus 19 offensive boards was the difference.
So, we end the first half of the MAC at 5-4. Not bad considering we were 3-4 after the back-to-back losses to Miami and Kent. Let’s keep the streak going at EMU. They will be tough at home but if we play like we did tonight and last Saturday we should be in it.
Side note, Sellers is now 9 made threes from setting the all-time record at BSU. Dude has been a gamer this year and really upped his game in rebounding and defense. Toughness too. Proud of you 34.

Trey was a man tonight! He was pumped. A lot of those shots were just a bit too hot. Hopefully he can make more if he stays that aggressive.
Great win tonight Cards!

Now can we find out that Huggins in the box score was actually josh Thompson. Would really hate to think whit burned the redshirt. It definitely wasn't Huggins. He wasn't even on the bench tonight. I don't think he has been traveling the last few road games although he was on the bench the last home game.

Holy hell, everybody. We WON tonight; when almost nobody thought we would. We got a great effort from Teague, solid play from Moses, and we ran their asses off the boards. Let's go get another Saturday and come back for two at home!

Go Cards Great road Victory tonight!!! This was more grit, plus a good game plan, not raw talent. There is talent, but now significantly less. Coach has kept this crew together through a lot of rough times. I see people complaining about things here, I wonder what the Toledo fans say tonight? Or UB fans tonight, too. Coaching is a tough job!?
