Holy hell, everybody. We WON tonight; when almost nobody thought we would. We got a great effort from Teague, solid play from Moses, and we ran their asses off the boards. Let's go get another Saturday and come back for two at home! 1 for 2 is 1 more than expected on this trip...

I dont really need to add anything but I do not remember any saying this. Teague now has back to back games where he was the best player on the court for BSU. Has he arrived? Im not sure but back to back is a start

When I turned the game on i told my wife we would probably lose big, did the Cards ever play their hearts out. Reminded me of the ND game, but better. Ever time Toledo cut into the lead the Cards found the answer. Great game!☺

I think we should nick name Teague the "rubber man" Man he gets his body twisted in some weird positions. Its not a pretty game but he is making it work

Interesting reading on the Toledo board. Lots of talk about needing to recruit athletic, muscular bigs like Moses and Teague. Kinda ironic, considering the talk here is always how we need to recruit athletic, muscular bigs like [fill in the team we're playing this week]. What's that saying about the color of grass?

Well if you had only watched the last two games that would be pretty accurate they have played like men. Im not quite sure I would call either Muscular but what ever they added to their Wheaties they need to keep eating it.

Our guys ain’t muscular but the last two games they’ve played more aggressively and confidently. That makes them much more effective (obviously). Trey is somewhat limited athletically but man, Teague is just scratching the surface. If he can keep this up..... they pair well together on the court too since they are different kinds of players from each other.

Its not a pretty game but he is making it work He's definitely our best athlete, yet he takes some contortionist shots near the basket. He appears, and statistics bear it out, to be more effective from 15' in.

Basically the whole game I was thinking "this is like Notre Dame on a MAC scale." Why can't we always play with that intensity? Rebounding is largely about effort, and we beat ND and walloped Toledo on the boards. If we can string together a few games like that in the tournament winning the conference is not out of the question.

I'm guessing small sample sizes. I'm blown away by how Moses and Teague played last night and I see them every game. I hope we get that performance consistently but it's gotta be easy for [Toledo] fans who only saw last night to think we have dominant big men. To the team: See what happens when you play with intensity and purpose? You are the ALPHA dog. You can control the game. You answer the call when needed...not folding but imposing your will over the opponent. This is the way CHAMPIONSHIP teams play. If the ball is not falling you do it with defense and rebounding. If scoring is working turn it on and bury them. FIND A WAY!!!!! Could this be the turning point of the season? If you want to win the MAC you have to give a Maximum effort EVERY contest. Prove me wrong and set your sights high, not to impress anyone but to reach them. Good Luck the remainder of the season. Go Cards Go.

I listened to the game on radio with the Toledo feed. They were both of the opinion they were outplayed & frequently on the rebounds said we hate to say this but Ball State just seems to want it more. Ball State was much more aggressive was said alot. They spoke to the Toledo coach after the game who said it was simple why we got beat they killed us on the boards because they went hard after every board
