With constant mediocrity being an accepted, institutionalized, annual fact of life of BSU basketball, I'm always looking for those extras to add some zest. The 2016/17 season was glorious in that regard as we still had the Longwood series going, and we were in a gripping back-and-forth death match with Texas Tech for the worst non-conf schedule in the KenPom rankings. Sadly, instead of being interestingly terrible, BSU's NCSOS is only mediocre this year, like everything else about the program.
Just out of nostalgia, I took a look at the current NCSOS situation. Patrick Ewing's Georgetown team is solidly sitting in the 351 spot this year. Their roster is also interesting. It lists Trey Mourning and George Muresan...I assume the family connections are what they look like. They also have a kid named Chris Sodom, meaning they should be scouring the country for a kid named Gomorrah (or something that at least sounds like "Gomorrah") and should sign him regardless of his talent level.
BSU is currently in the 207 spot (Zzzzzzzzzzzz), but guess who is virtually tied with us at 206? None other than our old friends Longwood!! Yes, I'm reaching to find something noteworthy this season, but I don't have a lot to work with here, do I? It's better than talking about what Jontrell Walker did or didn't do to that girl's head, at least.

My opinion is you can't Ball without Longwood.

And Sodom and Gomorrah for a halftime show would be awesome.
A better draw than $1 weenies. $1 weenies? WTF were you thinking folks?

And Sodom and Gomorrah for a halftime show would be awesome. I think you would have to have a salt shaker promotion. And an NC-17 rating.
