Cards (3-4) will face another pretty strong Coastal Carolina team on Friday. They are 7-2 (they play 18 of first 19 at home) with a 17-2 shellacking of VaTech.
Opponents are batting .229 against them (Cards at .239) and CC has outscored opponents 75-32.
Maryland is 3-4 with a game this week and Radford is 3-4 with a game against VaTech this week.

Well, that didn’t go well. Two good innings from Floyd. Brought in reliever and we walked three guys, who all scored....+1 more. Lost 6-3. Very few hits but our pitching was good, except for one.  |

I'm going to assume Rich is still playing around with his pitchers. Some of the staff is coming around, others are struggling.
I've seen three games this spring and will take in the Tuesday game. Offense is still struggling. Doesn't look like we're going to be outscoring our pitching unless something changes. Maryland is a good team. They beat Coastal yesterday.

We let 4-0 and 6-4 leads get away and lose 8-6 in game 2. Could be sizing up to be a long spring.
Play in Western Carolina mountains next. Guarantee it’s going to be COLD 💨 for those games.

We let 4-0 and 6-4 leads get away and lose 8-6 in game 2. Could be sizing up to be a long spring. Play in Western Carolina mountains next. Guarantee it’s going to be COLD 💨 for those games. WCU handled us in Muncie last year. I am not sure we'll have a good series. |
