I am very proud of Sean's basketball efforts as a Cardinal. When he first arrived as a freshman he was a very good three point shooter. But pretty much average in everything else.
During the next three seasons his efforts at rebounding, taking charges and defending has greatly improved. He was a targeted three point shooter through out his career but his improvements in the other facets of the game showed his strength as a team player.
Thank you, Sean.

Sean is my favorite player. His game improved so much this year; he became a complete player. I believe Whit under utilized him the last three years. I would love to see the results if he would have gotten 10-12 shots a game.

Agreed on all counts. Classy young man who grew his game and worked hard to become a more complete player. Wish him well and will miss his shooting prowess and hustle.

Sean has a lot to be proud of, both his accomplishments on the court and in the classroom. Best wishes to him.

I agree he seems like a solid individual and wish him the best in the future.
Just wish he would have hit those wide open 3's late in the game on senior day and then against Kent St in the tourney.
Too bad he didn't, because any past athlete will tell you those are probably the shots he will remember for the rest of his life.
Of course 3's aren't automatic for anyone, not even pros. Just bad timing.

So to get him a lot of good shots required waiting for him to use a lot of screening to get open. Weber was better at shooting off screens which took away shots last year, and this year going away from screening for the shooters more and using the P&R so much meant he was not going to get shots. He was still important in the offense, his shooting did create a threat which meant opponents had to guard him away from the basket at all times and the middle was open for others to score.

Yes he had several disappointing games where he might have scored a bunch more, but grew from being just a shooter and played fundamentally soundly with his effort and defense consistent.

When he was on he was terrific. Thought his rebounding really grew the last two seasons. I do not think he was much of a defender. Happy for him to get the three record.

His best season was his first season, and his best game was his first game.
Very unique for a four year player.

Is Sellers eligible as a graduate transfer? No, he has used all 4 years of his eligibility in basketball. Maybe in a different sport like he wanted to play a year of baseball or soccer somewhere as a graduate transfer.
