A very schizophrenic 7-17-1 CMU squad visits Ball State this weekend. Their pre-conference record looks terrible, but it appears they are finding themselves in time for the MAC regular season. They beat MSU 3-1, then took 2 of 3 from NIU (7-16) in Dekalb last weekend and lost 8-5 to Michigan.
I am hoping BSU gets 2 of 3 from the Chips, but a sweep would help later this season.
#11 IU comes to Muncie on Tuesday, April 3rd.

Both Bakers pitched well in game 1. It got a little dicey in the top of the 9th but all in all a good way to begin the series.

All I have to say about Saturday's game is yikes! Our first 4 pitchers were abused. Down 20-1 in the 6th.
Hopefully it's a fluke rather a concern beyond today.

All I have to say about Saturday's game is yikes! Our first 4 pitchers free abused. Down 20-1 in the 6th. Hopefully it's a fluke rather a concern beyond today. Ended up 23-1. WTF? |

A late game collapse today. Up 4-0 until CMU added 7 runs in the top of the 8 including 3 unearned runs. Also, CMUs reliever struck 8 of the last 9 batters out. Not a good conclusion for the series.

Not a good weekend for bsu baseball. Bullpen blew 4-0 lead in 8th. Lost 2 of 3. Smh
