Big weekend on the horizon with McKendree and Ohio State coming to town next weekend! Ball State sits in sole possession of 3rd place in the MIVA with a record of 8-4. Two wins next weekend will give the Cards a 1st round post season tournament match in Worthen Arena where they have won 9 straight matches! McKendree is a game behind BSU at 7-5 while Ohio State is leading the league with Loyola with a 10-2 record. The Buckeyes and Ramblers have won the previous three national championships.

The Cards took care of McKendree in straight sets last night. Tonight's match with The Ohio State University will be broadcast on ESPN3 starting at 7:30. Go Cards!

Excellent last four games. We stunk and OSU was solid in game one. After that we competed in game 2, but lost and were then really solid the last three games. Really fun match to watch.

Incredible comeback win over Ohio State last night keeping the Buckeyes from winning the conference outright. Loyola shares the title with OSU with BSU only a game back in third place. Actually, Ball State was only one swing away from winning the title as they had a match point in Columbus in February. Amazing atmosphere in Worthen last night that saw both teams play at an exceptionally high level. Congrats to the Cardinals and 3000 fans on hand to support the team!

That would be a nice way for BSU sports to end the year for the men. Does not look like baseball is going to get it done right now.
