Not sure how this will pan out but we might have to spend 5 bucks a month to watch the Cards going forward Football/basketball.. Sure there will still be some free ones but likely not all

Does this replace ESPNU completely or is cable access still available?
Is there any new programming involved?
If so.
Will this help or hurt in terms of the value of the TV contract to us?
It was not just revenue but exposure. And to us it had additional value, we could watch away games!
Maybe, it might marginally increase attendance, but I doubt much impact.
Don't see a plus in this news.

There will still be watch espn 3 and EspnU and all that but some of the free content will be pushed over to this new thing. No one is sure what content is moving might not effect the MAC at all

Most of the MAC will remain on ESPN3, but some will move to plus. The higher-profile games will be on plus, while the lower level games will remain on 3.
Disney will be squeezing every drop out of this platform. At some point I won't be surprised if you subscribe to certain teams or conferences... for a fee, of course!
