We all take turns making fun of our attendance but there is this Ball State ranked in the Top Ten for crowd percentage increase by an FBS school last year, with attendance up by 27.1% or an average of 2,110 more fans per home game. bit.ly/2L2d4BC #TrueCardinal #NeuEra #PoundTheRock

Well the real answer attendance was down almost everywhere last year. Ours was so bad it could not get any worse so marginal improvement on our end caused us to be one of the top 10... Pssss Dont tell anyone just roll with it

Are we sure this wasn't a difference in the method of counting? Seems a bit hard to believe there was actually an increase of 2000+ actual bodies per game.

They weren't ''actual bodies''. 89% of the increase from names that were found on century old tombstones in a Muncie cemetery.

That sounds like EMU's counting but at least the soft drink supplier gives them something back can't we do the same thing with our soft drink supplier here?

2016 attendance 2017 attendance
EKU 10,903 uab 11555 NIU 7249 ten tech 14,225 Akron 10,739 cmu 15,850 western 5742 toledo 7103 eastern 4442 buff 5248 miami 5374
So we had one extra home game in 2017.. 2018 will probably get another attendance spike due to having 4 saturday games. Its been a while since that happened.
Saturday games actually bring some people its the weekday games that are just dreadful

And then there's that Tuesday night game in November.

Even though it's in November, there's only ONE home mid-week night game and it is currently scheduled for a 6PM start and that should all help some should we have any success at all.

By a rough calculation, taxpayers and students subsidize football around $190 per person attending home games.

Less, but still a shameful waste of a lot of money.
