There is a new red shirt rule...
The condensed version is simple.
Any player can now play 4 games without losing a year of eligibility. This will help if there is an injury bug and will also let us preview some players

That's probably some 20 page revision that you just summed up in two sentences !!!!!! It's still just too stinking bad that it wasn't retroactive !!!!!

If there is a way to cheat around it North Carolina will figure it out. They are trying to figure a way out of sending their players to no classes but giving them credit in social studies for ''life experiences'' with the general student population, offering the same to a select few ''regular'' students and get away with it for twenty years.

One thing it will do is increase transfers.. If you see your snaps going to the freshman more and more the final four games kids are going to bounce.

Is it safe to say if you are a freshman & don't see the field you probably should transfer unless you were hurt?

Any idea if there is a limit on how many freshmen you can play up to 4 games under this rule? Or can you play all of them if you want?
