I was able to make it out for an hour or so...
Qb's Riley looked sharp and accurate, Plitt looked good enough, HUghes still third on depth chart.. Still looking to run first and holding on to the ball way to long/
Only Knock or mistake on Rileys part was again under throwing a deep pass allowing the DB to break it up
RB's Gilbert Huntley DNP.. Dunner used on screens/passes and a few runs
Freshman Tye Evans made alot of plays.. He is like a bowling Ball... Doubt he can get on the field this year but he was with 2nd threes
Wr's Littles know firmly with the 2's he had the play of the day catching a 60 yard TD over the middle from PLitt
Yo/ Heinz and Gibbs both made plays with the threes
Riley Miller and Davis will lose their spots at some point this year or be ceremonial starters/
Hall used in about every way
Tight ends nothing stood out but givans and freshman wes obermeijer made some plays.. Obermeijer will be a stud in the future
1st team oline played well,, back ups not so much
Play calling.... Many more shots taken downfield
Defense...............ughhhhh not very good

Sorry i keep remembering things.. Wr endsley made a bunch of catches. Problem with him he is another slot. He made alot of noise in camp ladt year as well.. Also Hall and Littles are very loud very and very cocky. They seem to be becoming leaders

That defense will keep the team from going anywhere.

Yes leaders are good as long as they keep it somewhat under control.. This new group of young ones are not your typical group of cardinals. So far though they have hot it done in the class room and have been great off the field. So if they want to talk ALOT of shit on the field so be it

It is early but with no defense ...few wins. Come on guys. Gotta hit someone, wrap up, and tackle.

Im not changing my prediction of three wins based off anything I saw today.. I do think the offennse will have more options than we even thought though.. They pla calling also looked better... Offense will still fall squarely on rileys progression though.. He looked really good today

It sounds like we will have plenty of options on offense. I expect big things from Neal this year. With the defense likely being bad again, hopefully they can at least get some turnovers to keep us in games.

Rob, did you notice the JUCO transfers? I'm drawing a blank right now on the name, but the JUCO LB was expected to start right away.

Wilborn Yea he was out there tough to judge d from the limited hitting those was going on today... He looked good though only thing you could really watch was DB's and how they cover.. They did not cover well or we are an offensive juggernaut. Based on past performance Im going to say the D still needs alot of work
