Syracuse only beat WMU 55-42. Tim Daoust defensive efforts are making head way at WMU they trailed 34-7 at half. Also note game ended with Syracuse on the WMU 1 but they were not trying to score. Eskridge had 8 catches for 240 yds which will be hard to top this weekend I think. EMU beats Monmouth 51-17 and led 30-3 at the half.

How bad is Illinois. Or how good is Kent’s new coach? Lovie won’t last the season at Illinois.

They had them down, made some mistakes, didn't keep Dudek in check and let Illinois come back for the win. That game hurt to watch last year.

I agree Smith is out of his element at Illinois & he is probably one big upset from losing the fans. I sense a loss next week to Western Illinois would cost him his supporters. Kent lost in 2015 52-3 @ Illinois whose fans certainly will be thinking of that as they leave that game today.
