Picked second in the MAC West and did not receive a vote to win the tournament. Eastern is favorite to win the MAC West with us finishing second. Buffalo is the overwhelming favorite in the East and to repeat as MAC tournament champions. MAC Tournament votes:
Buffalo 25, Eastern 3, Central 1; Miami 1; Northern 1; Western 1.

The reason no one picked us to win the tournament is because we are a perennial fader in Feb and Mar under Whitford. Until we prove we can finish with a kick our bridesmaid status is who we are. This is the season that has been pointed to by the lovers, the haters and everyone in between. If we don’t win the league this year then when will we?

Yeah maybe, but if that was the case why would anyone pick EMU to win the West? Talk about perennial underperformers.
