I'll stick to my guns from last year.
If we're MAC championship level good, it'll be Teague.
If we're mediocre, it'll be Persons.

If we are good it will be distributed scoring. All above and also Mallers.
Persons best bet to lead scoring because he'll have the ball and get fouled a fair amount down the stretch in games we lead.

Im not sure what Teague is going to be if he leads us in scoring that should bode really Well.. He can be a real problem for the MAC but He needs to be consistent

Just don't see him being the first option.
We'll push the ball more, but still half court be more pick and roll and drive and dish with guards. We'll look for kick out to Mallers and Persons before Teague.

An inconsistent Teague will mean a mediocre team. He remains the one player we have offensively who most other teams, even the good MAC teams, really don't have an answer for. So if he is good, we will be hard to beat.
If we are hard to beat, there will be a significant amount of points scored, so there will be points distributed. However, if we're really good it'll be Teague in the 18-20 range, Persons around 15 and 3-4 others in the 8-12 range.
Persons bumping up his average by hitting free throws late will be a good thing. Persons dominating the ball early ... not a death knell but also probably not a sign that we're playing our best ball.
Love the ice in Person's veins and his desire to make the big shot. We'll need that, especially when the going gets tough. But having Teague consistently engaged in all facets of the game throughout is the real difference maker.

Agree with the last comment. And think his D can be very big.

Teague has the ability to dominate and did in a few games last year. Do it more consistently and we’ll be really good. And doesn’t always have to be the first option. Just be active around the basket and hit the offensive boards. Stay aggressive and engaged.

Just don't see him being the first option. We'll push the ball more, but still half court be more pick and roll and drive and dish with guards. We'll look for kick out to Mallers and Persons before Teague. Teague, at his best, is not someone you kick the ball out to. Teague, at his best, is hitting the boards, scoring off offensive rebounds, taking it to the hole and, very occasionally, shooting the perimeter jumper after a kickout. If Whitford's plan is to put Teague at the 3-point line and wait for a pass, he hasn't learned anything. That is the recipe for average.

Which is why I think he won't be leading scorer. He doesn't seem to me to likely be first option in our offense. He'll score, on dish off in the lane, on the break, and on the boards, but not as much as Persons will. For reasons given above. Now if his outside shot returns to form, he might get enough wide open room, we'll be surprised. But not first option still.

If Green Light is our leading scorer it'll be because he started hitting all those 3's.
