This may be a long season for the Lady Cards this year. Losing Grande hurts a lot.

Don't have any ill will towards Grande. However through 3 games she's only averaging 2 ppg. Granted one game was against UCONN

Brady may not be an easy coach for the girls to play for 4 years. You often hear the girls say they understand being tough and hard nosed in practice.
At tipoff the tone Brady had speaking in passing of her leaving was not exactly warm. Could have been a little tension there...

On one hand I understand that the team wasn't going to be as good this year and she probably though she wouldn't get enough attention from the Pro's at BSU to have a chance. However, I can't help but think that the team and Brady saw it as an outright betrayal. If I can think back, I don't think Brady has ever lost our star player to a big school in his time here at BSU. Natalie Fontaine probably could have played at most P5 schools, but never gave any indication that she wanted to play anywhere else.

Carmen was a great player for us but chaffed at the hard coaching I think. And left Brady in the lurch late in the process. Can’t see her being able to score in the big 10 but she can pass.

I'm sure her uncountable number of missed layups was a point of issue for Brady.

My niece, who is a freshman at Westfield, enjoyed her visit at BSU and liked Brady. She already holds offers from Purdue, Miami, Toledo, Western Michigan, Central Michigan & Dayton. She would be a major steal for us if we could get her. As a freshman, she is averaging 11 pts and 12 rebs to go along with leading the team in assist. She can shoot the 3 and she is a 6'2 wing with a great feel for the game. After finally being a good uncle, I have gone and watched her play a couple of times and she is only going to get better. Notre Dame as well as Purdue have been to everyone of her games so I suspect the big boy offers will continue to grow. Of course, she knows where her uncle would like to see her play. Alyssa Crocket is her name. Go ahead and watch some of her video that is out there. I would imagine she will be a candidate for Ms. Basketball when she is a senior.

Reevo, it’ll be very disappointing if you cannot steer her to bsu. Your Cardinal card might get revoked. ;-)

Parents would like for her to stay close but my fear is Notre Dame. Her dads father is a Notre Dame grad and his whole family are big Irish fans. Not to mention they have one of the better girls basketball programs in the country. <iframe width="37.1800000000001" height="2.92" id="MoatPxIOPT1_94025457" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: -5px; width: 37.18px; height: 2.92px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="37.1800000000001" height="2.92" id="MoatPxIOPT1_7501862" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1786px; top: -5px; width: 37.18px; height: 2.92px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="37.1800000000001" height="2.92" id="MoatPxIOPT1_32937329" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 87px; width: 37.18px; height: 2.92px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="37.1800000000001" height="2.92" id="MoatPxIOPT1_8645690" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1786px; top: 87px; width: 37.18px; height: 2.92px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe>

Could never blame her choosing a program and school like ND.

She was also close to my middle son and mentioned Purdue was a possibility because that is where he was going to play baseball. I have told her she needs to find the best fit for her though she really did like Brady. I just think as she gets older, her opportunities are going to blow up. She will not commit to any program until the summer prior to her senior year.
