Watching Buffalo at #13 W. Virginia. It is in over time and the Bulls are awfully good. No doubt the rest of the MAC is a big step below this group. They are impressive.

Massenburg is a stud. They are going to be a handfull. They are super quick, shoot they ball well and worse yet, they don’t turn it over and they out rebounded one of the best rebounding teams in the country. Massenburg with 43 and 14 boards. MAC player of the year? I would think so. Got to get the 2 seed and stay on the opposite side of their bracket. They are very good!!

They are on the way out of the MAC. Have potential draw and resulting funding, have some TV market to offer.

Crazy athletic team! On most rebounds they had guys streaking down the court looking for the outlet pass. Agreed, they are a step above every other team in the MAC. Fun to watch.

This was a fun game to watch, they are very athletic, very quick, good hands, good rebounding team. We have a lot of work to do if we are to compete with them. Concerning another comment about them on the way out, I hope not! Their football has improved along with their basketball. It took time, but they are becoming the standard for all MAC teams to aspire. The conference needs to work hard to show appreciation and keep them in the conference.

Also watched the closing minutes of the Toledo vs Oakland game, disappointing. Though Toledo won, it did not show case the MAC well. Hopefully can have a good game against Purdue.

History suggests the 4 or 5 true major conferences reorganize, expand, creating vacancy at the next level down. So who knows where the opportunity might be. Buffalo, with improving football might have options a school like Butler did not. Or they might get smart and stay lower level in FB. (Oops, I forgot how high level MAC FB is.)
