Selected as DII coach of the week by the infamous HoopDirt.com site. Be that as it may, it appears Taylor has his program turned around and headed in the right direction; he's a good man and deserves it.
NCAA DII: Billy Taylor – Belmont Abbey College (NC):
"Belmont Abbey, led by Coach Taylor, is off to its best start since the 2012-2013 season, and picked up two more big wins this week. The Crusaders first took a resounding 93-79 victory over 20th ranked Barton on the road before winning a 73-72 nail-biter against North Greenville on Friday. This moved Belmont Abbey to 8-2 on the season – their best start under Coach Taylor – and 3-0 in conference play. The Crusaders are back in action on Saturday against Limestone".

A good guy but the most unemotional coach I have ever seen in college sports.

Comatose on sideline. And although unnaturally calm under fire, he was unemotional in the huddle. Drove me nuts to see him seated quietly the whole game.
Better in practice. He was a little like Ray in that he expected players to have the same discipline and work ethic he did, and trust them to respond at game time.
No sense that inside him was fire. Determination, discipline, intelligence, yes.
Whitford is much more intense in practice and although he doesn't rage at the referees or players in the game, you can see steam coming out of his ears at times. Never saw that with Billy.
Whitford seems to believe (or hope) that his players can play through trouble and doesn't like using TO's. If you have a team that is very well prepared and disciplined that can work, but our crew seems to lose track too much.

Forget what he did, probably was trying to help the officials and encourage them to do better, said "good game" to the ref, who thought he was being sarcastic?
