I will say the D played a lot better today. We sure could use about 3 more Wiggins

The 4th down "trick play" nonsense and the 3 misses in the end zone before halftime is what upsets me about bad coaching calls.... Our backs and QB can pick up 2 yards just fine as long as its a regular run play. CMU didn't show me they could stop the run today.. Rotate those guys out and get the legs pumping.

So…are we capable of winning again this season? I gave up on our bowl chances after last week, but we need to get something out of these remaining games. I'm worried we'll have a bunch of transfers due to the toxic environment Lembo is creating.

I think we might be capable of beating Umass and Ohio but Im afraid Western and BG are going to roll us bad. I think we somehow find a way to win one more

Running is fine but they have to do it with the right personnel. They had Williamson in on one of those runs at the goal-line near the end of the first half.
Teddy is fine in certain situations, but he gets what's blocked for him and that's it.
On the goal line we needed Green or Gilbert in there, preferably Gilbert, if you want what's blocked and then a little extra.

Gilbert should be the feature back. Period. he's the next Edwards, green the next Banks. Green should be change of pace and also be used as slot sometimes. We have got to get him in space. But instead we run him into the line. Dumb.

10,025 was the attendance today…will we see half of that next week? Lembo is slowly suffocating the program.

I am in Colorado and listened to the games on radio. Has the o line controlled the line of scrimmage in the past two games or not. If so why are we not running the ball more. While the defense has played much better the past game and a half with additional rest I think they would be even better. I agree we should be using Gilbert as the lead back. I think we should be prepping for next year the rest of the season which means redshirting Smith unless he wants to graduate in May, play the underclassmen on the o line some in each of the remaining games, and open up the play book on offense. Throw the ball to the t ends. We have nothing to lose. Massachusetts will pass even more than CMU and they will throw to Sharp at least fifteen times. I listened to the CMU broadcast and their announcers felt in the 2nd half that Neal would or could not throw the ball downfield more than 15 yards. Make sure we throw some long balls to Brown and Jordan. We need to score over 30 to win that game barring the weather being a factor.
