Not sure if anyone is paying attention, but the Soccer team is 13-3-2 (9-1 MAC) on the season and undefeated at home. They sit alone on top of the MAC standings with their lone loss coming in double OT to Western Michigan. I smell a MAC championship soon!

They fell today in the Quarterfinals against Akron in penalty kicks.
Why is it so difficult for this school to excel in post-season tournaments??

Not disputing that Successful regular season Cardinal teams historically come up short in conference tournaments.......but......why are there even conference tournaments for the "minor" sports?
I finally can grasp that FB and BB conference tournaments are to generate revenue (although I question this when I watch MAC tournaments), but these other sports are notorious money losers in their own regular seasons.......smh

That's all I got...

Aren't there good NCAA qualification reasons?
Regular season winner take all in a big conference is probably not going to always send the strongest team in the post season headline opportunities. Too close to call in some cases.
These things aren't that expensive anyway. They didn't have to rent a big stadium and pay for media and so on.
