So you guys know that we will probably go out and catch fire against eastern and then win a squeaker in round two then flame out round three Right?
When this happens Whit will say Yep we just needed to hit shot and we had a little time to gel. We just ran out of gas though this last game. This excuse will be believed my some and buy him another year.. Then the next year will come and Acree and Bumbalough will show enough that we will be "rebuilding" thus buying whit another year.. The third year will come and we will finish near 500 but we will have eaten enough of the contract that we will then make the change.
The only way this might change is if we lose Monday night.
If we lose monday ALL of us need to stop hiding behind our screen names, loyalities, fandom, rose colored glasses and send emails to the AD. THe TSP(I know you guys are reading) needs to write an article asking real questions and pointing out the real obvious to all problems over the last 6 years.
Doing this will likely do nothing but cause we really need a resignation or a fucking money tree but we have had over 500 guests and members on the board reading our posts in the last 24 hours. So if we stop hiding and actually do something we might just have a chance

That timeline's not quick enough for me. I've already contacted an unnamed but highly successful collegiate women's basketball coach, who our AD may or may not have had contact with in a previous job, asking that he buy out the remaining years of Whit's contract. For providing this service, he will become a search committee of one, likely naming the first woman to lead an NCAA Div I men's program full-time approximately 3 days after the end of the MAC tournament.
Gora could only dream about thinking up a publicity scheme of that quality.

I would say there is absolutely no way in hell we win, but all of these teams, including EMU, stink, so anything is possible.

Watch. Gunn will have the game of his life off the bench against that zone.
Or not.

Throw an extra 25K at him. I'll bet we at least have some motivation.

I haven’t watched games lately, but I assume the heart is gone or severely damaged. I can’t see a scenario where we win Monday. Would love to see this Phoenix rise from the ashes though.

Except the last two games we really have not played him Exactly That was the “or not” part. But he’s the only kid we have, other than Nehls, who can beat a zone. Neither can do anything else though. Whit should have us going for broke, playing like banshees, but he won’t.

Whit should have us going for broke, playing like banshees, but he won’t. My "exactly" was that he hasn't played, but it would be so BSUish for him to come in for a few minutes and catch fire. But let's be honest, this is the stuff that happens TO us, not FOR us.
