Cards take care of business 6-0 against the real Purdue University. PUFW next up tomorrow at home

That was a well pitched game by the 4 pitchers. Purdue never made a threat. It really helps to jump on the opponent the way we did in the first 2 innings. Good win Cards!

That one got crazy with two midweek games, multiple pitchers out, and thus going down to the last available pitcher, but glad to see them come back and win against the odds. The weekend series with WMU has been moved to Muncie due to weather. |

Cards score 4 in B9th to win by 1. 12-11 over PUFW in a bit of a wild one open MAC schedule on Friday at Kzoo. One of my old players, Brandon Yoho of PFW, lit us up today with a double and a HR. Would’ve like to have gone, but work got in the way. Man. BSU squeaked this one out. You give up 14 hits, 2 HRs and 9 BBs, you expect to lose. PFW left 12 on base, so BSU dodged one here. |

That was quite a win. I am happy to get it & thank we should be happy we have 14 pitchers as they are all needed.
Also nice to get to play at home against WMU will we be the home team & get last at bats?

No idea, but I'd imagine WMU will still be designated the home team (unless they forfeit their home status by their field not being playable). |
