Valpo is not very good this year. 5-15, but they took 2 of 3 from NIU on the road two weekends ago. They hosted Butler this past weekend and won 1 of 3.
Butler is off to a 14-9 record. They took 2 of 3 from WMU at home a couple of weekends ago. We haven't beat them since 2016. They come to Muncie in 2 weeks.

Ok looked at the number of hit batters we had 7 is pretty high with Powell getting hit 3 times. So were they throwing at us, just wild or do we crowd the plate.

Nothing intentional. Simpson was hit on hand while swinging. Should have been a strike and they gave him the base. We we still have issues with some our pitching, but it is getting better. I’d hate to get in a tight game and go to some of our bullpen right now. You can’t predict what might happen. |

I suspect we will find out this weekend.I am hoping our pitchers are good enough to get it done but they sure walked a lot of hitters in today's game I realize those guys won't be pitching alot against Kent.

Other than that, BSU pitching was decent. |
