BSU added an extra game on Monday, against IU Kokomo, to make up for two weather cancellations vs. Kent over this past weekend. BSU beats IU Kokomo 12-5. BSU hosts Manchester today. You can watch today's game at ballstatesports.com/watch/?Live=1220&type=LiveFor the third MAC weekend, BSU travels to Central Michigan (20-7, 5-1 in MAC). It's gonna be a tough road trip. No TV or streaming coverage. |

BSU loses the opener 5-4. Jameson had a rough start although the bullpen was able to tread water. Middle of order struggled granted Central's starter has a filthy ERA in the low 2s. Hopefully Baker and McDermott can go at least into the 6th in next 2 starts with the bullpen getting a lot of work today.

This was a very ugly loss today. Baker had a solid 6 inning start but Nicolas was wild relieving in a bad 5 run 7th and our 1-5 in lineup combined for 0/19. The offense has only put together 1 good inning in the series. Hopefully that changes Sunday to avoid a sweep.

Great win to close the series. Would of been nice to take 2, but I can live with 1 with central Michigan being a difficult road opponent.

The relief crew cost us that game. I’m not sure we’ve developed “later inning” pitching guys yet. It has to be difficult to come from being a starting high school star to becoming a mid-game 2 inning pitcher. Smarter guys than me can tell me I don’t have a clue. |

Our pitching staff is wildly talented, but seems to lack some maturity. And we haven't quite found the formula to put complete games together against high-level opponents yet. Having said that, I like the chances of this staff and this team come tourney time. |
