If Plesac can in his tough outings give up only 4 runs in 6 innings he will pitch in the big leagues for a while. The real question is does he learn & improve. He certainly did nothing to lead me to think he won't start every 5th game for the current Indians staff.

His slider was hanging early in the game vs. the Reds. The exploited it. It will happen from time-to-time, just don't let it happen frequently.

The trouble is the current Indians staff isn't close to being the regular Indians staff. He might be able to hang around while they're missing 3 starters, but he's still probably got some convincing to do to stay around if they ever get healthy.

Indians are actually noodling trades on two starting pitchers (Bauer and/or Hand) before July trade deadline.

I was quite aware of that too. He definitely needs to improve & get better. The 2 errors in the last game have to end with his next game.

Gets the win to move to #1 on all-time mlb win list for a Cardinal.
In 5 starts he has went 7 innings 3 times and has a 2.56 ERA.

ERA now at 2.33 with another 7 inning performance.
Second time through the league might be a different story with better data on him but enjoy the success of the moment.
