Zach Plesac is with the Cleveland AA Akron team. Has started 3 games and is 1-0 with a 1.02 ERA
Alex Call was supposed to open with Akron this year and I cannot locate him on any Cleveland minor league affiliate.

Nestor Bautista is pitching for Clinton in the Midwest League currently 0-1.C J Alexander who played 25 games at BSU in 17 is a 3B for the Mississippi Braves in the Southern League currently hitting .143. T J Weir is 2-0 pitching for Amarillo in the Texas League.

Interesting tweets recently by Plesac. Sounds like he may be starting to grow up. He was extremely immature while at BSU. An incredible talent, but horrible teammate.

Plesac started Sunday against my White Sox, went 7 innings, 4 hits & 1 run in a 2-0 loss to the Sox. Looking good so far.

Alex Call called up to Akron(AA) of Cleveland, went 3 for 4 with a homer on Friday. Looks like Cleveland has a home for ex-Cardinals.

Plesac and Ball State got great pub tonight as Zach pitched seven strong innings against the Yankees, which is on the MLB Network right now.

Plesac wins 1st game & is now in four way tie for MLB win leaders who played baseball at BSU with ONE.

Plesac goes against Reds tonight with a chance to set (double) all time MLB win record by a Ball State pitcher.

I grew up a Reds fan, but I have A former Card I can’t root against. So my solution is plesac goes 7 strong but the reds rally vs the Indians pen and pull out the win.

Took the loss in a 7-2 decision. Went 5.1 innings, gave up 5 hits and 4 runs, 3 on solo HRs. 2BB, 6K
