We were bad but not shooting FT beat us tonight!
50% from the line and 27% from 3 point land. And a miserable 36% from the field.
When we were up 8 we played not to lose!!!!!!

Absolutely horrible. This team has actually regressed compared to last year. Would expect nothing less from you. First game on the road. Free throws did it. Lot to work on but not concerned. We have lost 18 in a row at what point can we become concerned lol

Bradley was equally bad and they won. So it's not like it was just a bad shooting night and oh well. Bradley was puke and we still couldn't beat them. If that's not a very bad sign I don't know what is.

We shot very poorly tonight...and why was Sellers hesitnate to take his shot??
It's only one game on the road...I'll be concerned if we're like 2-8 to start the season but not yet!

I was really hoping after the shitshow that was the football season that Kid was going to be right. I was even prepared to let him say whatever he wanted to us/me without rebuttal. After tonight I might be even more pessimistic than I thought possible. This is what year three under Whitford, I don't care what you inherited or how bad things were losing to this Bradley team is unacceptable

I would say I'm concerned, but honestly, what is there to be concerned about? We suck, everyone knows it and already knew it. We basically have 13 athletes putting on red and white uniforms trying to put a ball through a hoop while alumni sit forlornly watching them and taxpayers pay for their tuition. We don't have any marquee games or anything worth getting excited about. This program is dead and I don't think anyone is capable of reviving it. There's zero advantage to playing or coaching here. The fan support stinks and our arena is like a funeral home. Seriously, if you were a player or coach with any kind of a future why would you come here?

No excuses and it's a bad loss! We should beat Bradley.
But it's way to early to throw in the towel...and D 1 games on the road are tough especially for a team that hasn't learned to win...let's see how we look when Whit only plays 8-9 and we get Weber into the line up! If we are not winning at least half of our non conference games I'll be worried.

I agree on 10 games being the point where I will judge where we are at. If I based my projections how we looked in our last 2 openers @ ISU and @utah even tho we lost given how tough out opponents were we would have ended up with better conference and overall records. Point being, one game doesn't tell it all.
