Regular season finale is this weekend vs Toledo in Muncie. A Thursday through Saturday series. Also, we shall be temporary Miami OH fans this weekend as they face CMU. Its rather unlikely BSU will overtake them in the standings for the 1 seed since CMUs magic number to clinch is 2, but here's to hoping.

Miami is the MAC team to fear in the tournament. Their offense and pitching numbers are much better than ours. It will certainly depend on pitching matchups if/when we face either team.

Hammered Toledo 10-1. Jameson 7 innings 8 Ks. Not as overpowering as he’d been lately but still damn good.

The good news this year is that our prime pitchers have limited innings on their arms going into tournament and we clinched a first round bye.

C'mon, O'Gara! "...he was like..." is not an acceptable phrase in any aspect of journalism unless it's a direct quote.
Lazy writing like that ruins the article for me.

I'm glad they wrapped up a bye. Barring a late CMU collapse, it appears 95% likely BSU will be the 2 seed next week.

Looks like Baker had a bad inning in the 4th giving 6 ERs on 4 hits (1 HR) and 3 BBs.

BSU rallies in the bottom of the 9th to win 7-6.
I love the fight in this team. Hulecki ties the games with a clutch hit. Orselli singles for the win. Nick Floyd comes in relief for John Baker and fizzles the Rockets.

We haven’t commented on Floyd too much during this season but he’s had a REALLY solid year for us.
