CMU with a nice win over Miami down in the Starkville Regional
Interesting stat...#3 seeds went 13-3 on Friday.

MO Valley 3-0 looks lots better than Big Ten 2-3.We will see what CMU can do against the SEC tonight.

I think CMU will have a tough time beating Miami today & even if they do I don't see them beating Mississippi St. ISU seems to be playing better than IU & may get a 2nd shot against Vandy.

We did not get in. CMU MAC's rep defeated by Miami today 18-3 & thus eliminated. IU was also knocked out. ISU took out Ohio St 10-5 & now gets it's 2nd chance against Vandy whom they to beat twice in a row to advance.

Michigan just s#!+ the bed in the top of the 9th against Creighton. They were up 6-2 in B7, then gave up 2 to Creighton in T8 and gave up 7 in T9.
They could've wrapped up the regional. Now they have to play Creighton again on Monday.
Big10 may be out of tourney after Monday.

No surprise on home teams winning that is the way it is intended & hate to say it but NCAA baseball is only likely to make money with the current home teams providing a crowd. How many away from home even in the tournament baseball teams will bring a thousand people to the games with them?

Michigan just s#!+ the bed in the top of the 9th against Creighton. They were up 6-2 in B7, then gave up 2 to Creighton in T8 and gave up 7 in T9. They could've wrapped up the regional. Now they have to play Creighton again on Monday. Big10 may be out of tourney after Monday. Like Michigan, Louisville also had the Golden Corral Breakfast Buffet and sharted. They beat Illinois State last night, forcing another game today. They took the lead late 3-1, and went into T9 with two outs and an ISU runner on 1st, and only have to get one out to advance. Louisville CF dives for a fly ball, misses it, and results in a one-run triple. Next batter drives in 2nd run. Tied 3-3 in B9. |

They were ragging the Big Ten hard, saying it was the most overrated conference in the country, and that they would rather scout MAC and MVC games. |

Yet another sad indictment on the crookedness of the NCAA. |
