The MAC has matchups against 2 Top 25 teams this week. No one has a bye this week. One MAC in-conference game this week. Saturday | 12:00 noon | Eastern Michigan | @ | Illinois | (BTN) | EMU can, and should win this game. | Illini -8 |
|
| Miami | @ | Cincinnati | (ESPNU) |
| Bearcats -17 |
| 2:00 pm
| Florida Atlantic | @ | Ball State | (ESPN+) | | Owls -3 |
| 3:00 pm | Akron | @ | Central Michigan | (ESPN+) | Chips are a rebuild. Akron is weak. Will be interesting. | Chips -4.5 |
| 5:00 pm | Louisiana Tech | @ | Bowling Green | (ESPN+) | | Bulldogs -10 |
| 6:00 pm | Buffalo | @ | Liberty | (ESPN+) | One of three bellwether games this week. Liberty (0-2) is in year one of full FBS schedule. Must win. | Bulls -4.5 |
| 6:30 pm | Ohio | @ | Marshall |
| Another bellwether game. Never lose to the Blundering Terd. | Terds -5.5 |
| 7:00 pm | Kent State | @ | #10 Auburn | (ESPN2) | | Tigers -34 |
|
| Georgia State | @ | Western Michigan | (ESPN+) | Another bellwether game. Georgia State got lucky at UT. Can't be losing to the Sun Belt. | Broncos -11 |
|
| Murray State | @ | Toledo | (ESPN3) | | |
| 8:00 pm | Northern Illinois | @ | #25 Nebraska | (FS1) | Looked flat vs. Utah, but Utah is the PAC12 favorite. May be able to beat the Huskers. | Huskers -15 |
Odds posted from SBNation.com.

I didn’t expect NIU to win, but to only score 8 points? EMU, WMU & Toledo did what they needed to do. BG, BSU, Ohio & Buffalo underachieved. Kent didn’t stand a chance. Miami looked weak. CMU’s offense woke up this week

Miami has not beaten the Bearcats for over a decade. UC, like almost Group of Five have Left the MAC in the dust. It would appear the MAC is not interested in investing in football at a level that makes it competitive at D1. Sad! We are the bottom feeders. Can not make one feel good about the status of the conference or our University.

Can not make one feel good about the status of the conference or our University. My bigger complaint is we arent amongst one of the better bottom feeders. We will likely be an underdog in our first 4 MAC games.
