As someone mentioned during the Fordham game their placekicker (Andrew Mevis) is from Warsaw, IN and the question arose as to whether Ball State was ever recruiting him, or some such thing. I noticed the Ft. Wayne JG had a small blurb the other day about another placekicker from Warsaw by the name of Harrison Mevis, presumably the younger brother of Andrew Mevis. At any rate Harrison Mevis committed Missouri this week:
From the Journal Gazette:
Warsaw kicker Harrison Mevis announced on Twitter Wednesday night that he has committed to play at Missouri. Mevis first shared news of the offer on Monday and had previously reported offers from Washington State and Army.
Wonder if Ball State ever tried to recruit him; couldn't find any such likliehood at any recruiting site.

I don't know, but I know the staff is very high on Knight, from Noblesville. Don't know if he is on scholarship or not, but if that is the case, the player mentioned above might not have gotten too much attention. With Lecorre and Rimmier both being seniors, I assume we might be trying to redshirt Knight for him to get stronger. I know I'd love to see us putting the kickoffs into the end zone for a change.

Comet I still hold out hope that some day we have someone who can do that without a 25 mph wind behind them.
