I think we will no more after eastern. EMU is not a juggernaut but they are not the EMU of old either. We need to get the passing game rolling again while not forgetting Huntley in the process. The D especially the corners are starting to play with some cocky confidence Uzodinma is really really good(Staff needs to dip back into Florida a little more).. I think we should scrap the run option stuff with plitt or at least really limit it. It's just not his thing The freshman from Detroit ain’t shabby either. |

Eastern beat Coastal Carolina, Illinois, and Central Connecticut on a last second blocked punt run in for a touchdown.
They got beat by Kentucky and blasted by Central.
This is the head coach's chance for a Neu start. You've beaten NIU, Eastern is a winnable game, and Ohio (after Toledo) is beatable the way they are playing. You handle these next 2 of 3 and you are 3-1 in the MAC and in good shape. If not, you play out the string and we will get excited talking about the new guy coming in.

Frozenbaugh I am right with u & Calhoun. I have read the forecast for Sat there & there is a chance for light rain which would definitely help us. It will be a chance to show we have closed the gap with EMU.
Illinois fans & some writers seemed to feel Creighton was auditioning for their job when he beat them.

Cards win 34-24. Then it’s bring on Toledo. I have seen us defeat Toledo many a time when we had no chance. Time has come. Go Cards! I as well so I feel it is not too far of a stretch to see a win but I greatly respect Toledo as they are a very solid team on all fronts. I have watched 3 of their games and it will take our best effort and theirs to be mediocre. |
