Well that's about as exciting as a trip to Gaston.

There ya go. Rob and I saw that coming. It’s the cheap option.

Not exactly promising if we want to expect major changes. Scheme, probably no really important change.
Change in preparation, teaching? Motivation? Small changes even could help.

There ya go. Rob and I saw that coming. It’s the cheap option. The fact that he was a co coordinator was interesting. He will now be free to do his own thing. I’m sure that was not the case before. I’m not sure if this is good or not. Could work out well for us......or not. Who knows. I do like the fact that we are not starting from scratch as I think we saw a lot of good things this year. Closing out games was certainly not one of them.

Still need to solve the special teams issues though.

I know of some players who have said they did not want a complete start from scratch overhaul. They also we were not thrilled with a lot of what elson did. They liked the 3-4 but really questioned some of the sets and packages inside the 3-4. Judging from the social media side of things it looks like the players like this promotion. I am not sure myself but maybe it will work and just a change in outlook and a different coaching style can fix it enough. It cant be any worse or can it

If a team doesn’t believe in or trust what a coach is teaching it’ll show in the results. Pretty obvious with the defense.

If he hadn't had a history with Elson, I might be OK with this but that does kind of taint things for me. Hard to tell how much influence there was there or ways in which they might have disagreed. We'll see, I guess.

It really isn’t in Neu’s managerial style to think outside the path of least resistance. Makes me think he had help in letting Elson go.

Rob says they may trust this change, but it remains to be proven how it's a change and how much of one. Will they see a change and believe?

Some of us had also thought maybe it would be Mckenzie.. Now we wait and see how Mckenzie feels about being skipped over
