Ok....we got some games under our belts and no jet lag.
Taking on #12 George Mason tonight.
Should be a good early indicator of where we stand this year.

Cards lose a tough one on the road to #12 GMason
Lose 5th set 16-18. On a positive note, Cards appeared to be the better team for 4 of the 5 sets.

Letting 24-20 lead in game 1get away turned out to be the killer. BSU deserved to win this match and the 4 controversially calls in set 5 really hurt as GMU did not use challenge green cards. BSU played an excellent match!

Donât be surprised to see NJIT in the NCAA tournament this year. They swept Purdue Fort Wayne on Thursday and they are all foreign players. Watching the match on line I was extremely impressed with their team and think they will be a strong contender in the EIVA. All of BSU players are from the Midwest. BSU is still looking for the final piece of their puzzle on the outside. When and if we find him, we are going to be very good!

It all came together for BSU last night with beautiful road sweep over a very talented and 7th ranked Penn State team that very seldom loses at home in menâs and womenâs volleyball. It has likely been years since the Lions have been swept in Happy Valley! This BSU team is really coming together early in the season and battle St Francis tonight and the Red Flash recently upset an excellent and highly ranked Stanford team. Should be another great match!

Cardinals move to 5-3 with a Saturday sweep of the sissys from Saint Francis
Finally return home Thursday with last two pre-conference matches against Urbana and Daemen College (Amherst, NY)
