Maybe the most athletic team in BSU volleyball history will open their season in Worthen next weekend when Ball State battles two teams from the south that compete in the Conference Carolina League. The 2020 Cards are going to be as fun to watch as any BSU team in recent history! Game time for both weekend matches is 7:00 and admission to watch is unbelievably free! BSU students will be back so a big crowd will be on hand to watch what promises to be an excellent BSU team that has the potential to reach the NCAA tournament in 2020!

Men’s VB. The highlight of a BSU athletic season (next to baseball).
The Abbey comes to Muncie first weekend. Our own Billy Taylor coached the Abbey basketballers for 3 years.
Cards aren’t getting much love in the pre-season poll. Hope we have the talent to prove them wrong.
5 of last 9 NCAA champions have come from MIVA conference.

BSU fans are going to love watching this team play this season! Not as much height as recent teams but much more athletic and energy! BSU has changed their recruiting strategy and I really believe it will make the Cards better and a contender for the conference championship!

Yes - Not as many service errors as in year's past, but I would have expected the Volleycards to have had an easier time with Belmont Abbey. |

A sweep of two lightweight opponents at home. On to Cali to play a couple of top 15 teams.
UC Santa Barbara is #5.

The key this season is going to be road wins for any team in the MIVA. BSU is going to be very tough to beat at home. Can the Cards win on the road? Lewis is clearly the team to beat but after that it’s a real crap shoot! Last year Ohio State finished 7th in the league and a year earlier they were National Champions! We will know a lot more about BSU when they play the Gauchos of Santa Barbara next Saturday in California.

And the Dowager Countess of Grantham's jump serve isn't what it used to be.
