My wife and I are watching this show on Food Network called Restaurant Impossible. The host comes to struggling establishments to help turn them around. Looks like not long ago this show filmed in Muncie at Retro Diner. Has anyone ate there before? Pre or post tv show? The host tried the food and said it was the worst food he’s ever tasted on his show before he changed their place around.

We ate there before and it was not horrible but just typical diner food. My wife and kids were set to be in the filming of the redo but that fell on a BSU game day so they did not go. Ive heard that it went back to just being typical as soon as the cameras left

I think he says the food is the worst ever at pretty much every place he does a show. Dramatic.
