Player choosing not to play.....🤔?
I don’t have a positive thing to say about that.

If all that is true then Walton is essentially holding the program hostage for his own benefit. If he’s cleared to play then Whitford is not operating in the best interests of the TEAM by not either putting Walton in the floor when needed or sending him out the door. Kinda reminds how he let Tyler make a fool out of him repeatedly, albeit for different reasons.
I guess we’ll see how this plays out.

heres my issue everything I read says 9 games for a medical he has played 10. If your cleared to play in games you cant get a medical. You CAN be cleared to practice but not to play. There is an even more obscure rule that might be in play it has to do with his original transfer. I believe his coach might have been fired the year he transfered(i could be wrong) if thats the case I think there might be an angle there as well.
Remember the fishy Riley Injury where it started as a 2 week injury but morphed into a season ender. He was ok to play most of the season but was never cleared to play. People knew it then the issue was just never pushed and the Doc signed off on it

Yeah, I wish we had some recruits to talk about. I normally don't follow the BSU football program that closely, but really enjoyed the football recruiting web this week with all the signing of good players going on. Kept wishing we had anything at all going on for BSU basketball in regard to recruits. I could cut Whitford more slack on this season if only there was a glimmer of hope of new blood coming in to replace the likes of Teague.
Rob, you are correct about the Bane thread starting on page 4. It's like reading Nostradamus for what is going on today for Whitford.

If KJ is cleared to play and doesn't want to, then yank his scholarship and find someone who wants to play.
That's the deal he made, isn't it?

I keep reading if KJ wants to play. Where is this coming from. How do we know it's not medical or coach's decision?

It's all not known. All are possible. The "complicated" part of it suggests some combination.

If the staff is willing to lie by supporting him in seeking a medical redshirt, I have a huge problem with that. It send a very bad message to the team that it is all about one player, and integrity doesn't matter. I'm still of the ilk that it is time to part ways.
