Hey, but we still played a "cupcake schedule."

I think we played 9 bowl eligible teams I'll go as far to say maybe not quite as bad as it looked. Ga State loss looks a little better. Blow out with BG a little better after they kick ass in the championship, but NIU did not have even their 2nd string QB.

This is what we're reduced to.

I still maintain with a couple of new players, weight training, spring practice and a healthy lineup we could be better than many on this site think.

I will take a 6- 6 record next year and be very satisfied. I think that is what is required to get Lembo another year. Other thoughts on this subject appreciated.

Georgia State has a lot going for itself and beat a very good Georgia Southern team which came within a whisker of knocking of Georgia late in the year!

We should have beat Northwestern. We left at least 10 and maybe 17 points on the field in the first half. They were 10-2 and are playing New Year's Day. This group learned ALOT about how to win and closing out a game. These are lessons all young inexperienced players must learn. At the beginning of the season I warned some of being too optimistic. Young teams always lose some they should win and win a few they should lose. Unfortunately for us we did not win the close ones. If we can plug some holes in the offensive and defensive lines, cover the opponents receivers we could make some noise next season. I KNOW those are huge hurdles to jump. As usual, the ''D'' will be the big question mark. Because of injuries we have a number of players that received playing time and are better experienced players for it. Let us hope we can capitalize on a disappointing season and turn it around come next September.

The last month told us all we needed to know about Pete Lembo. Good coaches lose games; they don't lose the team. Lembo will be looking for a new job this time next year. This is what he gets for hiring lame coordinators and thinking he had a new job locked up.

Well we are all entitled to our own opinions for sure - let me just say i disagree with you and your assumptions!

It is hard for me to believe that the Pete Lembo that showed up in Muncie five years ago is suddenly a quick fix snake in the grass making bad hires that would make him look bad. I keep saying and no one wants to address the fact that the coordinators are calling the schemes that Lembo has signed off on. THE GAMES PLANS ARE HIS!!!!! We will see next season with a more experienced team if we have a repeat performance.
