Is he doing it within the rules? Will his personality keep alumni from the stadium? In short, what price will be paid to win? Those questions among others would have to be answered before you take a leap with the likes of a Fleck.

No doubt, Fleck is sitting on pins and needles hoping his personality might be deemed acceptable to the BSU alumni, so that all his coaching dreams and ambitions can be fulfilled.
Too bad I don't have access to the old BSUfans archives to review all the snarky ridicule from there directed at Fleck a few years back. That would make for some amusing reading now.

Fleck-90% of job not football-CEO and motivatorHow much of his shtick is crafted image as a maverick and personality? Probably be a presidential candidate soon. How much of what he says about himself is really the way he operates? At some level when you hire good staff and let them do their job you still get called on to make important football decisions. And, you can't really manage an organization and motivate the people without knowing something. He got some good jobs along the way, and all the people who contributed to his success and helped him probably would disagree that 90% of the job is not related to football. He was recommended for the HC job by those people who know football, so there must be something there more than show.

I would have said no there is no way but so far I have never read anything that says he has not followed the rules. He has dome some unethical things such as revoked a few offers when he found better talent etc. Other than that he has seemed to row his boat in a pretty straight line
