From ball state basketball Twitter there is a comment that Windham is a good 3 point shooter and he fits the team well because he likes to shoot the 3. Do the stats show that he is a good 3 point shooter?

High school stats. Doesn’t always translate. I hope it does. I also hope we don’t just park him 23 feet from the bucket and tell him to bomb away and he does nothing else.

I hope he can score in other ways. If not and if his best use is to space the court more like Mallers did, I am fine with that. His record indicates he is not as limited as that, has more handle, and more ability to drive than Mallers.

If your prophecy is indeed correct..... ....then we must be sure he is not clicking on all fires in the middle of a flatulent rainbow 🌈 cloud.

We need size inside. Again, waiting on this mysterious big guy to sign! If we don't get him, we better be able to hit high volume of outside shots so we can spread the floor and have enough guys who can finish on drives to the basket.
Acree, KJ, Thomas, Coleman might be big enough and athletic enough to play like that. But we would need a everyone a shooter to prevent help defense. KJ certainly failing in that capacity.

One of the things that made Ish more difficult to defend was his ability to also drive to the basket. Windham will need to be more than just a spot up shooter. I still say the loss of Ish & Mallers who both were better than average from 3 is going to be hard to replace. There's a difference in having the ability to knock them down and the ability to do it in game speed, against good defenders consistently under pressure. Yes, Bumbalough is a shooter but after him, who besides Gunn is a proven outside threat? BTW, Bumb shot .335%, Coleman .325 and Thomas .318. Hazen shot .303 and Acree just .218 (9-42!).

I will largely agree but will state that late in the season Thomas had a fine looking stroke...
