A good read on what the lock down has done to sports, including college sports.
I can't agree it is a good read. The reasoning is vague and there is little support for most of the assertions, which seem to be based on the idea the response to pandemic is a liberal plot.
When the article says early on that there is no reason not to play sports in the Fall, and really doesn't support that statement they lose me. There is room to debate, but hardly a case that there is "no reason." In this case the alarming thing is that the statement is uttered as absolute truth and the basis for the rest of the article rather than a hypothesis, a conclusion to be supported.
This publication which includes the article you cite has little credibility and very few of the articles are written by anyone with credentials other than access to the internet. Most content seems to be along the same lines, conspiracy theory and assertions of government run by liberals answering to Chinese communist masters. It's science is extremely poor featuring an article on the left hand sidebar "Mask Madness." That article is full of misinformation and unsupported assertions.
If you agree with their conclusions I hope you have better reasons than the ones offered, or more to the point NOT offered in the article.

I was judging it on factual content. Not much of that. And the part that's pure opinion and value statement isn't very clear, pretty vague, invites speculation and suspicion of conspiracy without spelling out any basis
