David wasn't timid when he took on Goliath and I don't expect our team to be tip toeing thru the tulips when we take the field tonight. They will play like a team that has their eyes on the prize. P.S. Buffalo is no Goliath

We were a 15 point favorite in 2008. Buffalo is currently a 13 point favorite tonight.

Feel like I am getting ready to watch a PBR event. Count me as a member of the 1% club. I began watching BSU football at the field across from hospital. I still have two Ball State Teachers College sweatshirts for display only as I have moved up size wise. Feel the same way about the game. I was a wreck watching the WMU game. Just hope that we can be competitive. My wife when very young went with her dad who was a photographer for Ball State to the game at the old field across from the hospital. She does have a retro Ball State Teachers College. I also have a picture of her in front of the Ball State University sign at the Admin Building when it was first put up. |

One thing I like about the D and I have no answer to why they do this but they get gashed and gashed and gashed and then make these 3rd/4th and short stops. That's what I'm hoping for. |

He’s gonna get his yards. The key will be to only let him have them between the 20’s. Gotta make them get 3 instead of 7.
They move fast so our defense needs to stay on their toes for 60 minutes. Subbing often enough will be an issue.
They’ll pay a lot of attention to hall so I think Tyler and Davis are going to have big moments.

The pressure is on Plitt. UB will score plenty so he has to be on it or we don't stand a chance. The question will be, is he up to handling that kind of pressure? I suspect if he makes more iffy throws in key situations (like near the goal Line) that UB will make him pay. |

You guys sound like a bunch of Detroit Lions fans. For those of you not in the loop they have never been to a Super Bowl. If I was Neu I would challenge this team to run out on Ford Field knowing we BELONG there. Virtually everyone on our team has been a winner their entire careers. I would not stop that thinking now. You players don't ever doubt yourselves or your teammates. This is a game that has changed very little since it's inception. It is a man's game played by kids. These games are won by blocking better than , tackling more and better, kicking further, and holding on to the ball better than your opponent. Tonight, our team needs to play like the young men they are. Buffalo is not tougher than you. Buffalo is not smarter you are. Buffalo is not stronger than you are. Knowing all that how could think you will not come out on top? Believe in your coaches, believe in your team, and believe in yourself and winning will take of itself. NOW LET'S GET OUT THERE!!!!!!!  |
