You know I jumped in the car again lol... I had to hear the radio then went and bought a cigar lol. I cant believe it.. Neu was crying Plitt dropped an F bomb and said he cant wait till next year.. Ok you guys can never tell anyone this but the best thing about winning tonight is and Im joking.. Ive been wearing the same clothes since last saturday.. Like all the same clothes.. Shirt, pants socks drawers the whole package.. I can finally change I'm glad I was able to leave my last day of Covid testing job today at a descent time and be able to watch the game tonight. Last Saturday I was all decked out in every single BSU gear I own. We still may have a bowl game coming up so don't wash those clothes yet brother lol Yes! Bowl game! Only another week or two Rob but you cannot change. Get us our first bowl win. |

This team and coaching staff exceeded expectations! Learned how to win the close games. They won the MAC Championship game over a very good Buffalo team. Great day for all Card fans. THANKS to the coaches and players for the new memories and congratulations on a great win.

So satisfying to return the favor. Too bad those fans don't have to endure that excruciating bus ride home like we did!. No, that's fine, happy for us! BTW Cardfan, thoughts on Neu now? Thanks for the season Cards, lets get that first bowl win. I’ve always liked Mike. He’s one of my all time favorite BSU QBs. He’s been on the hot seat for sure. There are still some head-scratching things he does as a coach. BUT, he got this team this year to play at a level they’ve not shown before. He got shit done. And he made the right call with Stockton. I’m extremely happy for him, the guys love him, and now he is a MAC champion as a bsu player and as BSU HC. It’s awesome and I love it. I think he’s come a long way. Not a hall of fame coach, but maturing. The ability to unite a team seems to be his greatest trait. Wonder who our new D coordinator will be? Really hope he stays, but guys early on said he would be just passing through. |

My wife said “are you sure we really want to watch this” after their first TD. I was calm and said I expected this and will be happy if we can stay in the game somehow. Then after some shaky play later and several drinks, I was so nervous because then I thought we might give it away! Funny how things and perspective can change.

I stayed sober during the game, Hanging with the family but after they went to bed I had time to sit and reflect. I opened a beer and thought back to all the bsuish things we have dealt with. All the loses, all the pain what 2 or three winning seasons in 15 years. I opened another beer, I then went deep twitter diving while opening another beer. Next thing I know its 5 am and Im out of beer. Ash wakes me up at 7:00 and says get ready we have to drive to Pendleton for Maxs Basketball.. So away we go lol

Stockton is probably the key to all this. HIs ability to make and adjustment and have the guys understand showed up several times this season. The removal of Elson and whatever he was trying to do with his dry erase board classes during the game was pivotal

Stockton and the defense is the #1 reason why we won a MAC Championship in my opinion. We always said if the defense was even average, we could do well in the MAC. I say the defense was better than average and significantly underrated. Perfect? Far from it, especially in pass defense, but much improved 100%!

Morry Mannies, Ed Shipley, John Scheumann all up in Heaven putting in good words for us. I know they saw this and are smiling extra big right now. Absolutely. We’ve lost so many legends recently and you have to wonder if they’ve sent something down to this team. Was thinking the same thing about those guys and many others like Sparky Adam’s and Larry Dorton to mention a couple! |

I agree with you Mike, the improvement in the ''D'' made the difference this season. Since the emergence of Plitt, we have been able to move the ball and score.

You bring up something interesting its been said before. For years we bagged on the play insert plitt it changes.. So at least this staff is not trying to insert a square peg in a round hole.. They at least are scheming to fit personel
