Looks like MAC unlike most conferences is planning on full normal season. MAC season is 40 games & we get 16 non conference. I will be very surprised if we actually play 40 of the scheduled 56 games.

I haven't seen a schedule posted, but no doubt the early OOC schedule should be cut and try to team up with Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri teams for four-way mini tournaments.
I wish Tim Corbin would invite BSU down to Nashville for a few games, and also Louisville.

BSU opens with 4 games against #10 Arizona on Feb 19th. Another interesting road trip is March 5th. BSU plays 3 against unranked Kentucky. If they were to sell general public tickets and you're close, it might be worth the drive to see UK's new baseball stadium. SEC Network or SEC+ should televise those games. The currently posted schedule only shows 26 games, and shows a gap between April 11th and June 1st, and mac-sports.com has no games posted. I wonder if the MAC is keeping the 2nd part of the conference schedule flexible for changes. I also, noticed that TSIB, Purdue, Indiana State and Notre Dame have not released schedules yet.

The rest of the baseball schedule has been published 55 games with no midweek single games (no TSIB, no Purdue, no ISU), only weekend series. All MAC series are 4 games, except for last one where Miami is 3 games (NCAA brackets on that Sunday). Butler will be a weekend series (2 home, 1 away).
There is no conference tournament. Regular season champ goes to NCAA Regional. Also, no divisions. 11 teams in a single standing.

Pitching and catcher depth will be critical to league success. I'm afraid 4 games just waters down the results. We have four very strong teams in the MAC this year, so I wonder if the thought is that this will help our winner ultimately better prepare for the NCAA tournament.

I probably can’t go to these games either! This is frustrating.

How many times have the Cards won the regular season and then lost in the tourney, therefore, no NCAA bid.

The MAC had announced that MAC season would start the weekend of 3/12 and consist of weekend MAC series (and some filler weekends) and no non-conference mid-week games. It appears Notre Dame is hosting CMU on two different Tuesdays, WMU on another Tuesday and Valpo on two Tuesdays (ACC allows it). Notre Dame is #25. BSU is playing well. Why not a BSU @ ND Tuesday game?
