Apparently there is a new subscription only article on the Star Press website. I don't have a clue what it says.

I just visited the site. The only new article I see is one that documents the COVID testing done on the athletes. Talk about a slow news day. Just a regurgitation of the weekly results of the testing. If I were the publisher, I would be embarrassed to report something as menial as these test results. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, TSP has just hit a new low!

Why does there always have to be some alternate universe explanation for common sense issues? This nonsense about coaching or program culture can't make a kid mature, blah , blah is just complete bullshit.
The best coaches, at all levels, create a true team-first culture that is intolerant of me-first behavior. It sticks out like a sore thumb and the player knows before EVER setting foot on the court that is the case.
Coleman would be well-served to transfer. Only under a different coach, culture and climate can he reach his potential. But he must first SACRIFICE all of HIS goals to the better of the unit as a whole. I have no idea if he will find or pick that scenario but I promise there are programs and leaders that could turn him around while keeping his good parts.
He's a 20-year old kid who like most 20-year old kids doesn't know shit from shinola other than what social media and his personal echo chamber tell him. If he is super lucky, he will choose a program that requires he check his ego and his agenda at the door. I serious doubt that will be the outcome.

I guess if I made it through 2020, I can make it another year with Whitford.
Also, I’m still trying to wrap my head around the Bonzi comparison.

Maybe our best hope now is that Goetz is in San Antonio searching for her next gig and leaves.
She skips down without giving Whitford an extension.
A new AD likely comes on board too late to fire Whitford but maybe at least doesn't extend him, then jettisons him next year after an evaluation leads him/her to the most logical conclusion.

Surely a magic rainbow-farting unicorn plays into this scenario somehow?
