BSU travels to Akron for their first MAC road series. As mentioned, its important they are fairly dominant these next 4 series since their final 4 series in May will not be a cakewalk.

BSU takes both games of the doubleheader 4-2 and 10-0. The Akron starter had no control in the 2nd game, walking 5 in 1 1/3 which opened the floodgates up. Hopefully BSU can finish their first MAC sweep tomorrow.
Also, I'm glad both CMU and Miami dropped the first 2 games of each series. WMU looks like they could surprisingly be on the MAC contention fringe.

Nice sweep! Keep stacking wins next few weekends leading up to what should be a huge series at Central MI May 7th-9th.

Great to see them take care of business this weekend. The key to the series was the game two win in two extra innings.
