BSU travels to Bowling Green this coming weekend. Its important for BSU to not look past this coming series to the following weekend's CMU series. BG just split with WMU, so although they're not even close to a MAC contender they aren't Akron either.

Very dominant 12-0 win to start the series! Baker with a rock solid CG shutout and the Cards scored at least 1 run in 5 of 6 innings from 2nd through to the 7th.

Two more W's today. We've dominated this series with the exception of the bullpen giving up 5 runs in the last inning today.
Meanwhile, CMU is on the verge of sweeping Miami...

I'm quite glad to have a ton of insurance runs entering the bottom of the 7th. Orselli really struggled with control. That said if they can go into CMU shiwdown with 9 straight victories after tomorrow, it would serve as excellent momentum. |

Lost 8-5 in the finale 😑. O'Donnell and Johnson got rocked in the bottom of the 6th, plus Cards stranded runners early in the game before both offenses got going.
I'm not mad about taking 3 of 4, that was s realistic expectation coming into the series, but it's not ideal to travel to CMU down a game plus this is where the EMU series split stings. Do or die time next weekend. I'm excited yet extremely nervous because CMU looks filthy in MAC play.
