As of last night, D1 Baseball still has BSU in the "Last 5 Out" category.
Hope it's not the case. Last time the MAC got two teams in was 1994 (CMU & Kent).
Big Ten is projected to only get 3 spots (usually 4+). I'm guessing their choice for a "Big Ten Only" season cost them one spot.

| Wins | 31 | 29 | 23 | 23 | 21 | 19 | 18 | 15 | 15 | 15 | 8 |
|
- The EMU and Ohio Series bit BSU in the ass. - CMU sweeping Toledo was a plus for them, plus having 5 swept series made up for a few blunders. Going 3-1 over Kent offset their 1-3 vs. WMU.

BSU had an RPI of #48 and was a Last Four Out by the NCAA committee
Jacksonville wins the ASUN tourney ( went 3-15 in conference) with a 16-32 record. They went 1-13 in April and got an automatic. They beat Liberty, and Liberty gets an at-large. Frustrating to watch.

The whole thing sucks. Young men should really be proud of what they accomplished, especially this last weekend when the pressure to win was really on. They did their part, just couldn't get any help.
Great job guys and Coach Maloney.

We got screwed out of the tournament simply because we're a mid major school. For instance, Alabama and LSU don't belong and I can honestly give a rats ass about their strength of schedule(s) and that they're from the SEC.

We got hosed but like I said earlier it was over last weekend. The committee does not care about anything other than butts in the seat

I saw the Alabama coach won’t apologize for their 12-17 conference record, they played the second toughest schedule in the country.
No series wins against the teams they brag about playing.

Losing never tells shit about how good or worthy a team is. A group of us guys could put together a team and play the SEC schedule and lose too. Takes no skill or talent to lose.

This is just the story of being a ''Mid Major'' Over and over again I have come to expect it The way the conference has played basketball the last 15 years I can understand but this is a tragedy for the gentlemen of the baseball team It sure does not help baseball recruiting any Sorry guys you just got screwed by the ''system'' As Deep throat said in All The President's Men, ''Follow the money".

All of that true. We were good enough to be in. The MAC had two very good teams. Surely a disrespect to the MAC on that count. We had our chance to win the big series head to head. Pretty hard to complain about anything else.
Everybody going to lose a few they regret. Those Big schools got a pass on losing a lot of games, with more bad games, we in comparison were not allowed a slip, it was really just a bad game or two.
